Wayne!! YOU'RE KILLING ME!!! , When I get out to CA to visit my buddy in San Diego, I'm going to make it a point to drive up there and shake your hand!

I guess you'd better start preparing some questions for "King George the IV"!

Wayne...you never sleep, do ya.

Here's another idea: put Dr. Dave Darling on the phone with King George and have a 10 minute "speed trivia" contest.

Wayne- Offer him some rediculous trade, like a couple of 914 rustbuckets and chickens for the the 916 replica or any of the other rediculously expensive cars!

Have you noticed? They put the $ sign before anything else on their description on the item.
Couldnt be more explicit.

Talking

Ok, It's been 10 minutes now since I read these posts, and I have pulled myself off the floor. OMG, this is just too funny. I would love to read the transcript on that call. Keep us posted Wayne.

Here is one for you Wayne. Ask the good doctor how long he thinks it would take for his mechanics to take out a 914 engine, replace one of the heads on it, and put the engine back in the car. If it is anything close to what they told me, you will be in complete disbelief.
I think I was quoted somewhere along the lines of 15-20 man hours.

Hell, I could do it in less time than that and I am not a professional, nor do I have a lift!

Wayne,

You are going to have to dig a little deeper, I going to outbid you on that one. The sky is the limit

Just kidding,

You could ask him how to put an SC motor in a 914 without having to cut the trunk. Then email him a picture of your car

That's the funnies thing I've ever seen!! I thought the domain name thing was a riot, but this tops the cake!! I like you guy's. There's always a good laugh here. How about a live three way, split screen web cam of the contest. Like a game show. George in the middle, Dave to the left, Wayne to the right. Ten minutes of pure belly laughs, that what I think.(LOL)

Of course, you could do no better in my book than to pretend to get upset with him (shouldn't be a stretch) about 9 minutes 30 seconds into the conversation and hang up on him!!!

hmmmm... makes me wonder what he does with his cars

"you name he has owned it and knows it intimately."

"In his collection have been some of the most exotic in the World. 916, 356, 912 "

I didn't know 912's were exotic.
