Are the bases for the pedal cluster available anywhere? this would be the metal piece that bolts to the floor and to the master cylinder. The base of my pedal cluster is rusted enough to raise concern over whether it will buckle later. I don't want to drive that stupid shaft out twice!

boy it is your lucky day...I just rebuilt my pedal assembly..actually two. I have one assembly that has been sand blasted and painted...totally part...shaft out and all...ready for your bronze bushing kit and a new spring...The other is in my car...And I would love to see it go to a good home???
No rust at all and it looks factory fresh... What will give me or trade me for it? Scott 410-456-1955 in MD. |

That is music to my ears. Unfortunately, I don't have much to trade. Part of the contract that I have with my wife that permits me to pour money in to this car clearly states, "No junk allowed in the garage". I do, however have a couple of heads that have been bored out to 1.8 piston size from the 1.7.
I've got a cat in the back yard that my wife has adopted, one chrome interior latch, one used009 distributor and a used cluch pad that I shouldn't have replaced. If none of that intrests you, I'll always trade for money. |
