Rear end feels like rolling over dead Raccoon

Title pretty much explains it. It happens under heavy acceleration.

Thought it was the Transmission Mounts, but replacement only lessened the "Thump". Could it be the engine mounts? CV Joints? or some sort of suspension problem?

Last year I put new coils & struts on the rear. The thump happened before the new suspension also.

Yep, pretty easy to check engine mounts. put a jack under the front of the motor. engine should not raise very much before the car lifts as well. Like less than 1/16"
