Muffler for kerry hunter header...options?

I have recently purchased a used kerry hunter header and I am wondering what kind of mufflers people have run with this header? I know it works with a supertrapp, but I was wondering if anyone has tried any other brands (flowmaster, borla, etc...) and how they liked them. I don't care that much about noise, just something quieter than straight pipes :P

Thanks,

Tony Chavez

Sorry, I run a supertrapp also. I've seen phase 9 mufflers used but no personal experience.... the supper trap alows for noise (ie: decible limits at different tracks) tuning to be done easily.. Something a muffler have a difficult time doing.... it can be as quiet as you need and if you drop the plates its a megaphone.

Well, I guess that solves that...any favorite place to get the supertrapp? I have seen them at summit racing...you need the 2.5" attachment with 4" od right?

Thanks,

Tony

I have the Supertrapp part # somewhere in my files. Will look for it and send it to you. After I purchased the main system used, I still needed the mounting bracket so, I just got the bracket and SuperTrapp from Kerry. He shipped it right out.

I did use different clamps, the wide SS clamp was trimmed to fit around the 02 sensor.

i've got a supertrapp tip that's already welded to fit the flange for the hunter headers, plus an O2 sensor bung.. i don't have any discs for it, nor the 6 bolts that hold it in, but everything else is in tact.. (used).. if you want it, i'll sell it for 30 bucks + shipping..
