I have a '74 914 1.8 w/stock injection. Pulled it out of the garage the other day.....started perfect. The car sat for several hours.....went to start it and it did nothing but crank and would not fire. I tried again days later, same result. Sitting for that land should rule out vapor lock. Any ideas?

Got spark? How about fuel? Compression?

OK. How do your points look? Ground braid in the distributor OK? Getting +12V on the black/red wire to the coil (+) terminal?
