Boge Color?

I thought Boge shocks were supposed to be black? My shocks are an orange/red color (color blind, but I know they're not black). What's going on with this? I know they are Boge because the name is stamped in them.

My Boges were grey...
My KYB are white, I thought they were gonna be red...

Here's some info that I found on the shocks: Boge's housings were originally black or grey; Bilstein's were green; and Koni's were red or yellow. Not sure about the KYB's.

I have two sets of Boge shocks and they are both orange.

The Boge's on mine are also orange.

So is there a difference between the orange Boge's and the black or grey ones?
