Upgrade to sideshifter trans

OK I now have a sideshifter, the linkage, and engine mount bar for my '70. My question is what manner of mount is used at the ends of the engine bar for a sideshifter. Currently the tailshifter uses large rubber mounts for the tailshifter at the outboard points. But when I ordered engine mounts I received small ones that are from the center of the engine bar to the engine. Are the mounting points for a side shifter engine bar possibly solid plates?

Yes, they are. They look something like pieces of U-section channel with three holes in them. There is a large center hole that the main bolt to the mouting bar goes through. There are also two smaller holes where smaller bolts hold the channel onto the body.
