Turn Signal Issue

When the cockpit temperature is above about 80 degrees and I signal for a left turn the dash indicator flashes once then goes off. The outside front and rear turn signals do continue to flash. This does not happen with a signal for a right turn. Is there a contact somewhere that I can add a drop of solder to?

When I had a similar problem, replacing the turn signal relay fixed it. You might be able to open yours up and clean/refurbish it.

On top of the fuse panel. It is one of the boxes up there.

you may be able to use a relay from a VW of some sort and save some dough. Headlight relay was much less expensive from local A/C VW place
