Thanks,

shoptalkforums.com

do a search in the Forced Induction area

a few turbo'd 914s are running around and two of the owners wrote quite a bit of information of how they did on that forum.

also, look into VW bug turbo applications, same basic idea, just the motor is in a differant spot

Huh? What? Oh, never mind.

ejm914 turbo-ized his 1.8(?) from scratch. Haven't seen him on the BBS lately, try sending him a private message.

I am some pictures of a turbo 2.0 liter that I was looking at about a year ago. I can email them to you if you are interested in seeing them.

Do a search on the Shoptalk Forums BBS for posts by the user "evill ed". A couple of his posts detail his CIS turbo install. In at least one thread, EJM replies with info about his CIS turbo 914 setup.

Sammy here did one with a single carb.

Oerdith, who posts here about every 12 months (if he needs to or not!) did one using a very modified D-jet EFI.

For some pics of EJM's setup, see:

For one or two pics of Evill Ed's setup, see:

For more on Ed's setup, see a recent issue of Excellence magazine.
