ha ha... I didnt show you the 3-4 3.2/3.6 engines sitting around SSI. Blame it on Brad.. everybody else does. B |
I need to answer Curt's question.
Yeah, it sounds like the price for that car may be high. I'd hold out, especially if your in California. 3 of the 4 914s I've owned came from California. Deals are out there. Hold on for the right one. The old addage "buy the nicest car you can afford" definitely applies to CA 914s. |
Ditto. Nice cars are out there.
Take a look at the website pics of the two 914's I've had so far (previous and current). They were both extremely clean 73 2.0 cars bought in the same price ballpark you are talking about. Of course I couldn't leave them alone and dumped significantly more time & money into them, but a lot of that was optional stuff and they were both very solid and great running cars from day one. If the one you are looking at is not in very similar (or better) condition, and 100% complete, run. |
Hey Chris,
I remember seeing an ad for your revena car being for sale by the guy that bought it from you. Did he ever sell it? I don't need another 914, but I've been meaning to ask you as I was curious. |

he told me he wasn't pressed to sell it, so I imagine he still has it.
