Oil Relief Valve question

Guys,

I am in the process of building up a moderately enhanced Type IV engine for my 914 to a bored/stroked 2.2L, oversized valves, and aggressive cam and a 26mm oil pump.

I have two cases to choose from to do the rebuild. I have a case from a 73' 2.0L and another one from a 76' 2.0L. The only difference I can see in the two cases is the 76' has a single oil system relief valve up stream of the cooler, but not the RV located between the cylinder #1 pushrods which I understand was used on some 75-76' 914's despite having mechanical lifters. The 73' has both RV's.

Which case is better for this rebuild or are they both about the same?

Thanks,
