With AAA Plus you can get towing up to 100 miles. Here's the kicker with AAA - they will ask you if the car is currently registered. The only answer they will accept is "yes" (hint, hint) or you will need to do all the dmv on the car and have a temporary sticker issued.
In any case I've never seen a tow truck driver that gave a **** about the car's registration. BTW, IMO every 914 owner should have AAA plus. |

If you have access to a pickemup truck you can just rent a car trailer for the day. I usually pay around $40 a day for one.

I second sammy. I use my Jeep and a uhaul for $39.00 + $7.00 insurance IIRC. Trust me, get the insurance. Do you need a truck. If you can wait Ill help out after X-mas.
