Thumbs up trans regear?

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has re-geared their transmission for highway speeds since most of us have moved our tires down to 50 series. Now when we are turning 3800 prm when hitting 70 instead of 3100? Any thoughts on the subject.

Thought it might make a fun thread with the cost of fuel now, that doesn't look to be getting ready to come down anytime soon.

Many of the V8 guys do it. Renegade hybrids offers this service and Rod simpson used, prolly still does. Last time I checked it cost around $1200.
