914-6 GT VDO Replica Fuel Gauge

I'm not a 914 owner but I've been building some custom 911 gauges for my cars and recently offering some to the Pelican community (you can search my name to see some of them). I ran across the 914-6 GT Fuel Gauge and as more of a challenge decided to try to build a good replica. This is what I came up with. It took 3 different VDO gauge cores to get a case, bezel, needle and movement I was happy with. The face is reprinted on the original metal VDO face. To allow for the fuel indicator light to be in the correct spot I used an internally mounted LED. It was a lot more work than I anticipated but a fun project. Now it's for sale.

I'd like to get $500 shipped.
Reduced to $475 shipped
Reduced to $450 shipped

This is SOLD.... I may be able to gather parts to build another one but it would take some time.

It does look very good, but the 914-6 GT fuel gauge is a larger diameter than the std 52mm VDO guages.
Is it 60mm?

If not then GT "look" would be more accurate than "replica".

Hi! I am interested in whether you are willing to make another of these. First, I have some questions. What is meant by 60mm size. My in-dash VDO gas gauge has a 50 mm hole. Is the 60 mm the size of the outside of the gauge or the size of the hole it fits into? Also, is a special connection required to operate the red light? Is any special wiring required? Or will my regular/current wiring do the job?

All 914 factory console gauges are 60mm. 52mm is considered aftermarket. Diameter is the measured by the size of the case. Current wiring is all you need, low fuel light is probably unused , just needs to be plugged in.
