Selling a NEW race/high performance 1.8 engine
Hey everyone, well it is time to sell my new baby engine. This engine came from a 1975 Porsche 914 with only 50k miles on it. I just received this engine from my engine builder, but due to lack of time to spend on this engine I must sell it. Features: fly cut valves, lightweight lifters, compression bumped up, align bored case, polished crank, DUAL 40's BRAND NEW, new rotary fuel pump, new pistons, oil sump has had work to keep oil pressure high, eagle cam mid/high range cam for awesome power. This engine was built to last and last with POWER. I have spent thousands of dollars on making this engine where it is now and would like it to be put to good use. comes with cut engine tins for maximum cooling. Make an offer to me, we will work something out. I also have a completely rust free, sandblasted, and primed 914 race tub, and a safety devices roll cage that hasnt been touched. E-mail me at DustinWayman@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions.
Thanks so much! ~Dustin Wayman

if you post an asking price folks might be more inclined to respond. it will save you much time in returning emails. a price will keep the tire kickers away. i know you have $$ into the engine, how much are you prepared to lose?

I like to think that it is a good deal as well. I have over 1,500 in the engine already and that didnt even include what it costed to do the re-build. I have one offer for 1,300 but i really do feel that it is worth a lot more. oh wells, guess it has to go. If anyone has any interest for this engine please please email me, I will be taking the highest offer. I would like to get 1,400 for this motor. The engine is in perfect condition. Please remember that this engine is 100% new and price was not a concern while building this engine.
Thanks, ~Dustin Wayman

class build
was the motor built to a race class limit. If so, what was the class? Please post or send pics of the motor.
