Testing some auctions on some parts at PCM!
Testing some auctions on some parts at PCM!
https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/weber-46-ida-c3-carburetors/ https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1968-porsche-911-s-crankcase/ This was sold at BAT just some weeks ago! but it was a bidding war in the end! my reserve is in the normal price believes. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/cr...2-0l-flat-six/ 68S case prepared for 2,5 L/2,7/2,8L RSR and a pair of Weber 46IDA Guys if I don't meet the reserve on the auction then I will sell straight out here later. The intermediate shaft is the original for the case. But if somebody likes to run thrust bearings for the Intermediate shaft so you are able to run steel gears I can provide that. Intermediate in the sale will work fine, it depends on the type of engine you are building. Perfect for the 914/6 GT build and look period correct! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

All threads for bolt holes are perfect, ! as you can see, there are no cracks, everything is very original and only cleaned with water after many years in storage, have newer bean any cracks in the case, sand-cast aluminum case and you can see the form marks after manufacturing sand-cast aluminum case that was manufactured in different stages because it was expensive to manufacture for Porsche, this way Porsche started manufacturing in magnesium which is a significantly cheaper manufacturing method and they were lighter and it was thought that they would last well over time ! as we all know is not the case
I have seen so many Crankcase over the years and this one is perfect all the way! and it had very few km on it before it went to the machine shop to be prepared for 2,5/2,7/2,8 L Thanks |
