Angry Parts Needed still:

OKay, dont make me go to AA...please...
I need :
1 PAIR of seat adjust hinges from the floor
1 Seat slider rail (the thing bolted to the bottom of the seat)- the one WITHOUT the release handle. Just the track.

Should I just buy the hinges aftermarket?
AA has the stuff, but will cost me 2X what I figure it should.
Thanks all,
Regards,
Robert O

I got the hinges from PartsWorks in Chicago awhile back on Ebay. You could always check with them. I think their prices are a little high for most stuff. I have only bought stuff on Ebay from them. THey want $99.00 for the little pieces of metal that go on the trunk floor to mount the rear sway bar. I have seen them for half of that on Pelicans site.

I think thats what I have.
I have three of the tilt/adjust sets, I just need the (silver colored) slider that actually bolts w/4 allen head bolts on the bottom of the seat. Y'know, the metal track that slides onto the adjuster assembly that you have there. One has the seat release handle built into it, and the other is just the slider...I think

Michel-
AA wants $20 a piece for the hinges with the braces they bolt onto- probably repro parts- and $20 for the slider track- NOS.
Maybe thats fair...I dunno.
Thats $60, + shipping, + handling + delivery confirmation + transfer fee + misc fees + destination/origin tax status fee + miultiple item order reciept tax fee tariff. .......
blah.

914Ghost,

That does not sound too bad. I will be cutting up a 914 in the near future but cutting out these hinges may be more trouble than it is worth.

I've used the hinges from AA ...they are worth it. Anything cut from an existing car is going to be rusted frozen
