Interested in a brake upgrade??
if anyone is interested..i have a set of front 944 calipers, i bolted a 944 set on the front of my '72 w/ no problems except fot a wheel clearane problem, which was all fixed w/ a different set of wheels, the only other problem i know of is that they do not fit in between the cuts in the sheet metal behind the hubs on 73+ cars, only the 72-, so if you have a 73+ car you will have to cut the sheet metal, i have not tried out my calipers on the street yet so i cant tell you the exlct feel in braking difference, but the calipers have double the pld area and a much larger pistont than the 914 calipers, so if youre interested in a cheap, bolt =0, brake upgrade youd probaly be interested in these calipers, $40+shipping, email if interested

the pistons will not pop out of the bote, and fot a few reas=0s, one..the piston is waay too long fot it to pop out of the bote, the piston wouldnt even pop out if there were no pads in the caliper and it was off the rotor and second, the 914 rotors arent that much smaller than the 944 rotors, the only concern ive had is the centerline, one pld wears a little quicker than the other, but not that bld of a difference and thats something i can live w,th..
