tranny??

Hey...will a 912 tranny work in a 75 914?? What has to be done to get it to fit??

The ring and pinion have to be "flipped", plus a lot of shift linkage stuff has to be fabricated ot taken from a pre-73 914 ("tail-shifter").

Unless you like having five reverse gears? ;^)

I very highly recommend finding a side-shifter 914 tranny to use in a 73+ 914.
