Sorry to be a pain. But I am interested in your wheels. I’m thrown off by the off set though. I have 5”, (actually 4 7/8”) offset 7” wide Fuchs now. I think if your wheels have the same or more offset, they can fit my 914. I think I have an additional ¼” fender clearance on each side available. You say that the offset is 23mm or by my calculations only about 1” offset. Is that right? Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Bee Jay,
European rims are measured from the center of the rim to the hub. So take 7"(inside to inside), divide by 2=3.5 add .90 (23/25.4)=4.4 (does not account for thickness of lip)

American rims are measured from the hub to the outside of the rim (lip), I could be wrong, but I'm pretty darn sure of the above.

So, Mike. The 7.5" turbo replicas with 23et has an offset of (7.5 divided by 2) plus (23et divided by 25.4)= 3.75 + .9 = 4.65" offset. These wheels will have the outside lip about (.5 + .35)= .85 further out than my 7" fuchs with 5" off set, right? I don't have that much additional clearance.
Didn't they make turbo wheels for the 944? Wouldn't that have more offset? I have about an inch inside, and maybe 1/2" outside. Didn't they make 17x7" turbo wheels. My second choice is C2 cup wheels. I'm moving this discussion to the BB, cause Enquiring minds need to know.
