I acquired this yellow Porsche 914 2-3 months ago and have brought it back to life. Selling because I need to remodel my house more than I need a Porsche in the garage. I'd much rather sell whole than part out.
The good news is: 2.0 engine, Runs strong and drives, no smoke or valve noise, completely rebuilt brakes (complete tear-down of all four calipers), new master cylinder, tight suspension with KYB shocks, Fuel injection tuned and many parts replaced/rebuilt, new fuel pump, new battery, all new tune-up parts (distributor cap, rotor, condenser, points, plugs, wires) all lights and markers work. 5 speed tranny - all gears work well, no discernable body flex, targa top fits well with no leaks, 5 original Mahle alloy wheels in great shape (4 on car and one spare) The not-so-good news: Body needs work and looks it. PO tried to graft on some fender flares and did a poor job. Fiberglass flares are not on car, but are included and could still be attached. Structural rust is minimal. Engine is 2.0 from a VW bus with original Porsche heads. Interior is not installed, but I have most pieces. Photos and further descriptions can be seen here: http://192.168.1.4/porsche914/ There are LOTS of good and valuable parts on this car. I would rather sell it in one piece than have to part it out. I am also including many boxes of extra parts for fuel injection, body, interior and more. I have a roll of new carpet too. Title is clean. Car is registered in Oregon with plates for almost another 2 years. Ready to drive away. First $1000 drives it home. After a week it's getting parted out on eBay. Available for viewing in the evenings. Email me for info or offers. Chuck Van Pelt cvanpelt2@home.com |
