I'm parting out a 76 2.0L engine out of a 912E with 84K miles. I currently have the following for sale:

050 Dizzy w/extra cap - $125
Heads - $500
Dual Webers - 40IDF, newly rebuilt, with manifolds, almost new air cleaners, new unopened RedLine linkage, fuel pressure regulator, $600
Complete gasket kit $40 SOLD
Front seal, rear seal, $10 each SOLD
Engine Tin for 914 2.0, I think it has the AC Cutout... $100 SOLD
Bosch Altenator $60 Tested good on 10/1

I also have engine shroud, fan, heads, crank, p&C, rods, etc. that I have not disassembled yet. If interested in the whole shebang, make me an offer.

Sorry Bob, the tin is for a 914. I have heard the engine tin for a 912e is hard to find and worth quite a bit.

what are those bronze pipe caps doing on the head?

These are 76 heads so they had the air injection holes. Those just are caps to plug them up. If you had any head work done on them, you could have them welded up and remove the tubes and caps.
