guards red 914?
i'm deciding on colors for my soon to be painted 914. i'm thinking of guards red, but i'm curious to see what the car will look like with that color. anybody got a pic of their 914 in guards red. thanks.

If you have access to Excellence magazine, the June 2004 issue had a seven page spread on a 75 914 that the owner painted Guards Red. Though not a true 914 color, it looks great with the black trim and interior.
You can also try doing a search for red 914s on the 914club.com web site. Several club members have painted their cars Guards Red. I believe one member. Sir Andy, has done his car in that color. BTW, I too am considering Guards Red when I have my 72 repainted this upcoming winter. Hope this helps.

chaeck auto atlanta catalog. Georgr built a 914/6 and it has the guard red color. I know you guys hate AA but it is a nice car. Mine is Willow green, but not may people like it.
