hey can you explain what this is? If my memory serves me correctly is this the electronic ignition that goes in the dizzy? I'm intrested if it will work in my car--I have a 74 2.0L

This unit will not work for the vacuum advance distributor.

I thought 914's after 73 didn't have/use the vac advance. I dont have either advance or retard connected....I'm confused
