WTD: Radio plate without hole
I am looking for interior console plate for radio location without opening for radio.
Preferably with face material is on and good shape ready to install. Please let me know if you have any. Thank you! |

It is very easy to make one. You can cut a piece of metal to fit or use a regular radio plate. I glued some basket weave (cut from an old worthless door panel) over the radio face plate after removing the original vinyl. Cut and glue just like the original. You cannot tell that the there is a hole behind the vinyl unless you press firmly on the spot.

Thank you Jim, That is nice idea. I will remove the radio and purchase the material to try that.
I have a after market radio but never really used it so I am planning to remove it and speakers + antenna. |

Just wonder if any one have left over dash material which size enought to cover little over radio plate for sale?
I see the material on ebay time by time but I do not think I need that whole thing which is about $20+S&H. |

Use an old door panel for the donor matierial. I have a couple that I could cut the piece from.
