The wheels are new, tires have never been mounted
18x8 offset 44 mm Front spacing 74 mm Backspacing 152 mm mounting pad height to middle of spoke 37 mm 18x9 offset 44 mm Front spacing 83 mm Backspacing 170 mm mounting pad height to middle of spoke 45 mm Brand new set of Speedline 3pc "Aliseo" wheels. 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. $2000 for a set of 4. Email GTrace@msn.com or (478)929-9454. Will fit 944, 968, 928, 911, and Boxster. Another similar 3pc Speedline wheel is the Techart Daytona 18" wheels which ranges from $5500 and up. Most likely this is one of the last set of brand new original Speedline "Aliseo" wheels remaining worldwide. Backspacing:determine how many inches your wheel goes inward. Front spacing:determine how many inches your wheel goes outward Offset: The offsets only determines how far the wheel goes inward. It plays a small part in knowing which wheel will fit. If one wheel mounting pad height is small with a short inner rim half and the other wheel mounting pad height is thick with a wider inner rim half, both wheels will have the same offset, except the wheel with the thicker mounting pad height will stick further out from your car. Front spacing and Backspacing are very important when measuring 3pc wheels

I don't get the dimensions listed. Offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel and is definative of the front and backspacing.
Your 18x8's, 74 + 152mm = 226mm = 8.90 inches, 1/2*226 = 113, 113+44 = 157 should be the backspace for the wheel as spec'd. 18x9's, 83+170 = 253mm = 9.96 inches, 1/2*253 = 126.5, 126.5+44 = 170.5 close enough. Since rim width is measured between the inside of the rim lips and your measurements may be to the outside edges of the rims, are the lips close to 1/2 inch thick each? I know that Fuchs 9's will fit under 914 GT flares, but these rims may not, with the numbers listed I can't tell if I'm in the market.

You do not add the backspacing and front spacing , they are 2 separate measurements. I will email you a picture of measuring backspacing and front spacing Backspacing is measured from wheel mounting pad to edge of inner rim half lip. Front spacing is measured from wheel mounting pad to edge of outer rim lip. Mounting pad height is measured from mount pad to middle of spoke, it will determine brake clearance. |

So if backspace is from the pad to the inside rim lip and frontspace is from the same place to the outer rim lip, wouldn't the backspace + frontspace be the distance from the inner lip to the outer lip? i.e. rim width?
If not, I'll need a picture... but I can be slow sometimes. Eric
