914-6 case
Howdy all:
I recently aquired a 'porsche-in-a-box' and it is stamped with 901/38 which the tech section says is for a 914-6. I was going to build a 906 spec clone on it, but the folks in the 911 rebuild fourm jumped all over me about using a 'rare' 914-6 numbers correct case for my frakenstein project. Is this case worth enough to someone for me to have to chase down a new case to build on? tadd

Thanks for the kind offer, but even plain jane run of the mill 69 T cases go for $200.
![]() With orginal 'numbers' 914-6s chasing 25k now days, and there were only about 3k of them made, AND everyone ripped out the 2L for bigger motors, I would expect to draw a bit more cash. Maybe. tadd
