Porsche 914 Race engine & lsd trans for sale

Hello guys,

I'm selling my race engine & lsd trans set up, complete and still attached as drop (see pics)
This is a SERIOUS engine and trans combo, very low hours and looks as if it was built yesterday. 13.5:1 compression, 1.8 liter built to scca e-spec with all the goodies. Delorto carbs with tall manifolds, additional sump, headers, elctronic ignition, etc etc. I did not build this set-up myself but did drive the car at 2 autocorsses last year and I can say that the car was a demon. I don't have the build sheet on this but whoever built this, built it right, no stories, no noises, no smoke, no grinding, same goes for the lsd trans! Whoever gets this set up will be one happy camper. I was keeping the set-up to install into my driver 74 914 but the reality is that I'm just too busy in the shop building customer's cars and probably will never get to it... so, rather than let it sit, I'd rather see someone have a blast with this.
Please remember, this is a COMPLETE ready to drop in assembly with very litle use, including nice clutch, headers and tail pipe, electronic ignition, oil cooler sandwich adapter etc. This was not a budget build-up by any means and would cost well over 10k to replicate. I need $6,000.00 + shipping, I will crate it it up nicely at no charge.

Hello, Rich. What type lsd is in the transaxle? How much for just the transaxle?

On another note, are you the same Rich that Don Gomez introduced me to at a rainy NNJR autocross last year? I had the Ravenna green 914 that you worked on for the prior owner.

Yup that was me, how have you been? It's always nice to bump into someone you know on here. I had heard you picked up a 6...word gets around quick in pca. I'll pop the cover off tomorrow and will let you know. Pricewise I'd like to get as close to 2k as I possibly can.

I'm fine, Rich, and real happy with the 6! Boy you're not kidding about the news traveling fast!!

Please tell me it's a clutch type! Also, if it is, would i upset any
clearances by swapping over the intermediate plate from my transaxle to this one? (I need the stud for the throttle linkage)

What a nice packaged deal and an excellent price. Wish I could buy it for my car. If by chance you decide to break up the package I would be very interested in the header system.
