914 rear deck lid for sale
I've got a used rear deck lid for sale. It's purple. It's straight except for a small, shallow dent a few inches from the trailing edge on the driver's side of center and, except for a little light surface rust in one spot, is rust-free. The dent is at the point where you can just see two small dots in the photo. Asking price is $400 obo. That breaks down into $275 for the deck lid and $125 for shipping. I got the UPS shipping rate quoted for worst-case scenario (in this case, from Redding, CA, to Bangor, ME), so I'm pretty flexible on that part of the price, depending on where you live. I'll drop the shipping altogether if you can pick it up. I'm also open to any reasonable offers for the decklid itself. Obviously, I'll check back for any replies or you can e-mail me at drew_dye@yahoo.com. Please help a fellow Porschephile raise the funds to get his two 914's back in running order!!! Thanks!

I would think that would be very dependent upon condition. This one is in really good shape except for that small dent. I called several Porsche-specific wrecking yards and the price ranged from $250-$275. Automobile Atlanta wants $580. Thanks for the input.
