FS: Fresh built 2.0L longblock

Decided to use up some of the parts I have lying around and build up a motor to sell. Each step of the build has been documented with photos. Here is what I have:

* GA case that was jet wash cleaned and checked for tolerances
* Rotating system balanced by King Balancing in Glendale AZ-they have been balancing motors since the 60s
* Euro flat top 94mm pistons that are used but in good shape
* New piston rings from Pelican Parts
* Raby 9550 cam, good for carbs or FI, New
* Raby cam gear, New
* Raby lifters, New
* Raby 30 mm oil pump, New
* New crank, cam and rod bearings from Pelican Parts
* New Sachs clutch disk from Pelican Parts
* Porsche 2.0L stock heads that have been refreshed by Steve at VW Performance to stock specifications with new seats.

Motor will come with five quarts of Brad Penn Break-In Oil. The motor is being assembled by master mechanic Ron Grider. Ron is a certified BMW and Mercedes mechanic who has owned a 914 for nearly 20 years. He also has experience working on an air cooled off road race team. Ron knows his stuff. He does work for several 914 owners in the area.

Heads are due out of the shop this week and will be installed. We can install your upper tin and fuel system of choice at no additional cost.

If you’re looking for a solid motor built right with the right parts, give me a call at 602-291-3525 or send me an email at greg.robbins@cox.net or PM me here.

Thanks for looking.

Asking $3500 for long block, or $4000 with buyer's choice of factory D-Jet or dual 40mm Webers.
