FS 1981 RoW 3.0L

I have this listed in the 911 parts classified, but thought someone here might be interested as well.

The donor car is a European 1981 911sc Coupe. I got this car with a “Broken Motor” I have decided to install a 3.6L instead of rebuilding this 3.0L. So I have the 3.0L and all of its parts up for sale. I would like to sell it as a package together, but if no interest I will sell in parts.

Engine Damage: The engine has over 8 broken exhaust studs and a broken piston ring land. It also has some damage to cylinder #3’s head caused by the gasket. I have included pictures of the damage and believe it can be fixed and decked by a good machinist. I would also suggest a valve job and maybe new guides. The rod bushings show some scarring, and need to be replaced. The rest of the motor is Beautiful, especially the lower end. It has not been checked by a machinist, but from the pictures you can see its great condition.

Known Condition:

Engine: 930/10
Heads: 930.104.329.3R, Y, 4-81, 5, K1926d 35mm exhaust ports and 39mm intake ports. Same large ports as 78-79 head configuration.
Intake Manifolds: 81/4, 39mm ID
Old Pistons: Mahle- 95L70 ++ C021. Swirled Dome CIS shape Weight w/pins and clips: +/- 680g. 9.8:1 CR. These pistons may have too much wear to reuse, and very hard to find a replacement for the 1 with a broken piston ring land.
Cylinders: Mahle- 95ZN1W3, some scarring to 2 of the cylinders, may be re-usable.
New (used) Mahle Pistons and cylinders- 9.3:1 CR, US CIS dome shape, look at picture of inspection report included in the photobucket album for detailed specs. Come with brand new Goetze rings. Can be kept exempt from old engine purchase for $500 less.
Cams: 1 bad spot on each 1 lobe of each cam. Repair needed.
Engine wiring included

The remaining engine parts are in good used condition.
