FS: Renegade V8 conversion Tall Ratio Trans Package

This is a Renegade / California Motorsports built tall ratio V8 transaxle. My car is undergoing another round of modifications, so this setup is available. The ratios compliment a V8 torque curve really well, and highway cruising is at under 2500 rpms. The trans shifts very well with no grinding or issues on upshift or downshift. It runs swepco gear oil and doesn't leak at all.

The package includes:
-Complete transaxle including speedo drive and output flanges.
California Motorsports builds some of the strongest Porsche gearboxes in the world, including the transaxle for the worlds fastest production car, 1100hp and 256mph. They do not just throw in usable old parts, they do a thorough and proper rebuild.

The stock 1st gear has been bypassed, as it is the weak point of a 914 trans. Second gear is the new first gear, and it has custom ratios for 3d, 4th, and 5th (now 2nd, 3d, and 4th). The ratios are excellent for a V8 powerband. I believe these are the ratios:

4.42 final drive
1st 1.889
2nd 1.080
3d 0.793
4th 0.594

-Complete heavy duty clutch and adapter package including: aluminum adapter plate, 9" Flywheel (for two piece rear main seal SBC), Kevlar clutch disk, heavy duty pressure plate, throw out bearing. You will need a new pilot bearing.

-Renegade heavy duty axle package. Stock 914 CV's are a weak link once horsepower increases. This package includes axles, CV's, boots, adapters, and bolts. Ready to run.
