FS - engine project $1000 obo

This is an engine project that I was hoping to rebuild but due to a financial shortfall I need to sell it. Here are the details as I have been told by reputable people in the 914 community that I purchased the engine from. The engine was originally built by Don Kravic SR. of Precision Motion in Riverside. The engine had about 45,000 miles when it was pulled. It looks to be a 2388 (100mm barrels w/ 76mm stroke). The pistons are 100mm Empi flat top and the cylinders are Bireil (Aluminum w/ steel inserts). The crank, rods and cam all appear to be stock 2.0 as are the heads (with the exception that the heads have been cut for the 100mm cylinders). The heads are in great shape with only some small cracks around the spark plug holes (so small in fact that I have had problems photographing them) and one of the fins is cracked but not broken off. The cylinders have been honed and the case has been bead blasted and cleaned. There was a crack in the top of the case at the oil fill but it has been welded and repaired. I have a complete sets of new crank bearings, front and rear main seals and seal kit. Also a set of new zinced pushrod tubes and seals. The only thing left to do is a rebuild on the heads, line bore the case, new cam, lifters and it’s ready to be put back together. I will consider reasonable offers and I will not split up the package. The package does not include distributor, carbs, intake manifold or exhaust. Here is a brief summary of what is included…
