sold?

do explain please Larry.

I'm the first one to express interest. I confirm that I am still interested after you reply to my e-mail, you agree to provide a pic, then sell to someone else without any notice to me(no pic aside).

Last time I checked my classifieds etiquette, this was not part of the deal...

I am not running in a popularity contest. some one else wanted it so i sold it. It had been 5 days time since i heard from you.. If you wanted it that bad you should have purchased it. It looks just like all the other 914 shift nobs you have seen. To me and probably many others when you sell items here or anywhere you will get people vary interested in a item only to flake out and change their mind later. If you wanted it you should have picked it up it was only $25 shipped.. Soooo Sorry.. love you long time.

Incorrect Larry, more like it took you 5 days to get back to me. I'm not too worried about losing out on this sale, just making a point on classifieds etiquette as I have known it for the last 30 yrs..

Rather than leaving my hanging expecting a pic, and then selling it to someone else, you could have said: it's $25, no pic, take it or leave it. Pretty simple really.

SC-Dude has a point... but hey, for 25$ dollars it could only be a crappy one, at least that's what i think. Fair condition one are +/- 80-90$...

But then, first dibs are first dibs... that's etiquette.

It was actually a nice shifter Nob. If it looked like crap it would have went in the trash can. Probably worth $80 to $90 but there isn't anybody here that is going to pay that. Generally speaking most people here want to pay 10 cents on a dollar if that. He had 1st "dibs" he did not want it. Like i said it was only $25 shipped. Go Find another one and pay $90 for it be sure to get a picture. You would not pay $25 shipped for this one.... I told him it was in good condition. Snooze you loose... if you like i can have the guy that paid $25 shipped for it send you a picture of it?
