914-6 Parts for sale OEM used
I have three 914-6 parts for sale at this time. These are OEM factory 914-6 parts.
Engine to Oil tank hardline, in okay shape, will need work to be concours, but a good line with most factory plating still intact. It is not perfect and has couple dents and scrapes, but could be smoothed and replated. 125.00 Oil Cooler 914-6, Behr, this cooler is in excellent shape and condition, the nuts are not twisted and the flange is not bent or distorted. 500.00 Engine wiring harness 914-6 complete for Sev/Marchal alternator, this is in good condition but will need some alternator boots replaced 125.00 All prices are without shipping. I will accept paypal, but the fees will need to be included, hope you understand. First PM gets in line. or call Erik Madsen 508-524-3145 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Please send it back
Dear Mark,
The harness is 40 years old, and it came out of a wrecked original 914-6. I assumed it was an original harness. Please ship it back to me for a full refund including your shipping back to me. I will send back to you via paypal as you had sent to me. This would have been much better handled in a PM than on this thread. If it is not an OEM harness then this is an honest mistake, and I will refund all of your money as soon as I receive the harness and it is in the same condition as I sent it to you. Okay, so I have a bit of closure to this. Here is what Mark says:
"The harness is not totally unusable, I have cut out the savable portions and am going to make my own, So a return is out of the question at this point. I can understand it was a mistaken harness, but it was not in good condition by any means. I pulled out a 2 ft. section of spliced in wires that were not color correct and covered in electrical tape. I would have still bought this wiring but not for that price" Just to clarify, the harness was not a mistake, it came from a running 914-6 using a 914-6 relay board. I am still at a loss on how this is not an OEM harness. I believe that because it had a wiring repair, it was not an OEM harness. As far as my description of the condition, I think the description of this harness as good for a 39 year old part was completely accurate. I did not check the wiring colors for the entire harness to be sure it had not been repaired at some time in the past 39 years.... I will be much more carefull with my posts in the future. |

Hey Thor,
You can clearly see electrical tape in your picture of the harness. I paid more than $125 for a complete 914-6 engine bay harness that was original. I don't think you were being misleading or over priced. dug
