Exclamation 914-6 GT horns

awhile back there was a WTB thread which I lost track of - I promised to check my 914-6 GT car & post the findings - so here it is - I have a pair of the red plastic hellas with long horn tubes - see pic - have not been hooked up for years. They have bolts, so I guess they can be opened up and rebuilt. A battery test results in a low tone on one, and a grunt from the other. PM me if y'all are still lookin for em. Free if ya pay the shipping cost.

Larry,

It was me who originally put the post up, but, it was Armando who recently revived the post.

He may still be interested, but, looking at them, the trumpets appear to be broken??

Do you know how to get a hold of Armando?

If not send me a PM and I will forward his info.

Peter

These aren't necessarily GT parts. Actually from a very few early 911's.

Couple of the GT's used them because they fit behind the bumpers.

Hi Harry! Do you still have your GT muffler? Are you willing to part with it yet? Please let me know. Thx!

PS: That was me measuring your outlets, remember? Time flies...

Hi Larry and thank you for the offer. I am interested to see how they come apart and what it would take to fix/repair them so they work. The benefit for us all would be that I will post photos of the trumpets taken apart and if I'm successful in fixing them. I will gladly pay the shipping, let me know how much, zip is 92867.

Thx! Armando

they did NOT fit between my 916 bumper and body - which is why they are broken just enuf to "fit"

it makes sense that they would be 911 pieces - that's where virtually all the GT competition parts came from

Dworazik was a factory 911 insider and obviously had open access to the parts bins and assembly line (witness my body shell)

I'll be sending them to Armando
