'76 2.0L Engine and Trans for Sale
I'm selling a 2.0L and matching trans out of a '76 914. The engine ran fine when pulled other than running a little hot which was attributed to a broken thermostate wire. Never overheated. Never torn down. Approximately 50,000 original miles. Engine includes full D-Jet fuel injection with ECU, original exhaust with heat exchangers (in mediocre condition; if not wanted, will not send). Transmission is a '76 901 sideshifter with matching mileage but needs a rebuild as it has a tendancy to stick in 5th occassionally. Probably a shift fork, but no other odd noises or symptoms. Some other 914 parts available. (Seats in good condition, original console w/ gauges, set of riviera wheels with almost new tires; two wheels have minor scuffing) Engine and Trans being sold to make room for a V-8. First $600 takes the engine and trans. Located in Vancouver, Washington. Will ship for price of freight and packaging.
