914 steering rack and tie rods.... F/S

This rack is in good condition and feels like a new one. As you can see the boots need to be replaced. It also includes the factory tie rods And they are in good shape, too. The black stuff appears to be some type of tar or sealer and it would not come off.

I was going to replace the boots but that is so easy to do I can't imagine anyone here not being able to do so. And besides, what if you already have some good boots to put on it?

You can but this new for about $1,897, which is more than I have paid for some 914's, or you can buy this one for $100 plus shipping. This feels like it weighs about 20 pounds and it is being shipped from Oklahoma.

Boots for this are about $60 or $70 I think. There are three of them needed and only two are in the photos. The other one over the input shaft went with the car to the crusher.

It never hurts to have a spare.
