FS: 4 Empi wheels + A008RS - Very Nice!
Hi All.
I'm cleaning out my garage and decided to sell these wheels. They're black Empi 15x6 with silver / polished lips, with the legendary-but-no-longer-available Yokohama A008RS tires in 195/50ZR15 size. The wheels are in nice shape -- I think this is only the second set of tires that have been mounted on them. They don't appear to have any curb rash. The tires have over half of their tread remaining. The tires and wheels came with a 914 racer I bought several years ago. I'm asking $350 obo for everything (I don't have any center caps for the wheels), pick-up in San Francisco only. Here's a pic: ![]() (the outside wheels are flipped around so you can see the backs) and here's another: ![]() Please contact me directly at aek@pumpkininc.com.

I allready emailed you but here I am again. As long as they fit under your stock 914 I'm sure they are real Empi's. If they have 195/50's & fit they definately are O.k. Sound like a pain but do you have a pic from when they were on your car. Also need to figure what shipping will cost before I can really make an offer! Or at least ageneral idea. Anyone out there ship a set of wheels with tires that might know?

I think I have some pics of my race car when it first arrived -- it had these wheels on it back then. Let me dig them up and scan one ... give me a few days.

Each wheel + tire weighs around 35 lbs. So figure an extra 4lbs or so for shipping ...

The wheels and tires have been sold to a San Francisco buyer.
FWIW, he told me that he had Empi's on his 914 already -- but they were the ones for VW Bugs, which means that they are thinner (4.5"? 5"?) and have a different backspacing (around 3", whereas these wheels have a 4" backspacing). Original Empi's have four little holes (or was it tabs?) that the center cap attaches to -- my (now his) wheels do not. It's also not clear whether these are "real" Empi's or knock-offs, but they do look exactly like the Bug Empi's on his 914.
