FS: Brand new 2056 with FI and Raby Cam
This is a brand newly built 2056. This engine has not been run or broken in yet. I built this engine to use for my 914 project and am only selling it because I no longer have the car and don't want this just sitting in my garage collecting dust. $3999
The engine features: 1.8l case - machined by Rimco 1.8L heads - opened up for 96mm pistons, rebuilt with new valve guides installed. Set to 9 to 1 compression. 2.0l Crank - turned and polished 2.0l Rods - Rebuilt and rebushed Jake Raby 9550 Cam and lifters Keith Black (KB) 96mm Pistons with AA Cylinders (bought through Jake Raby) New Sachs Clutch kit (pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing) 1.8l L-jet injection off a great running stock 1.8 This thing is ready to go and will be a great engine for someone looking for more power than a stock 2.0l. These 2056 typically make around 115-125hp. Call, email, or PM me with any questions. Chase 801-472-1871 Sorry for the mess in the pictures, I'm in the middle of a garage reorganization. Oh, and for the sake of being able to see the top of the motor, I have left off the air filter unit for the pictures, I do have it all though. Last edited by Beschleunigt; 08-02-2011 at 04:38 PM.. |

Very nice
My engine just failed and this looks like a suitable replacement for my 912E. Just looking into the details now.
Can you ship it to Colorado? Approx price? |

I can ship the engine anywhere in the continental US for less than $300 depending on your proximity to Utah. For colorado, I would think it would be less than $200.

Okay, thanks for the info. I called you earlier by the way and chatted with you a bit. I'm still rounding up the game plan here.

I have not done a compression test on the engine. It would probably be pointless to do one before the engine has been broken in though. I have an offer pending on the engine at the moment. If it falls through, I will let you know.
