Porsche Crest Factory 914-6

SOLD!!! Going Home to Germany!!!

Porsche only built a total of 3,351 from 1969 to 1972, and many of those got bigger engines, crashed, raced, rusted completely away, flat out disappeared, so there is value in a matching # 914-6 even a rusty one.
WILL NOT PART OUT!!

Very rusty matching #s and all the "correct" 914-6 stuff is there..
Yes it is rough, check out the cost for a correct set of HEs, 914-6 Webers & you are over $3K right there, this one even has all 5 matching Fuchs.... Course, the fact that it is a matching # car, with the Docs helps alot. $6,500. We have all seen Porsches in worse condition saved and there aren't very many 914-6 with matching numbers left and many see 914-6s as the next 356 Speeder in values..

Porsche Crest

A set of rebuilt rear calipers just sold here for $1,200, and they don't come up for sale very often, factory heat exchangers, a set with holes sold for $1,800, and finding a correct 914-6 tranny with correct linkage, well, that is a PITA too (or just finding the correct linkage if your box was converted to a Sideshift) I have already gone through that..

I am not parting this out..

If it does not sell in the meantime, coat it with oil , or grease , and put it inside until after the elections , the go ahead and list it .

Correct you are sir however...maybe just not quite this much value!
Perhaps you may consider marketing this particular unit as a "light weight"

Now that my shop is finished, as soon as I get the lifts in, that is what will happen...

914-6R, I like it.....

It is 95% complete, all the major bits are there. The P&Cs aren't there, as they were crap, the oil cooler was replaced with a 911 modded in the early 80s, best we can tell, course thanks to the OEM cooler leaking, the header were preserved
It does roll, and there is another 914-6 roller, minus pretty much everything, listed on the board for $6,700 and was a bare tub (I mean bare, but flared, and no susp, nothing but a bare 914-6 tub) with flares, for $5K.. I just have too many cars right now, so I'm thinning them out (no, the Toad Hall is not for sale) but I will let the Blue Turbo "S" go..

Yea, the other one is much nicer, but it also cost close to 4 times as much, but the restoration is the next level, should be painted soon..

As stated, included the OEM Fuchs, date coded 11/69, that the car was delivered with & spare..

How about that Michelin White Wall.....

Heater boxes are solid...

Engine #..

Nice lizard. Hope you found him another, more suitable home. Good luck with this car. I hope someone tackles it and saves it.

Glad to see it is hopefully going to be re-born. Of course the person who let it sit and rot to that point still needs to be drawn and quartered though
