I recently came across some weber 36 idf carbs and a set of 40 idfs. If anyone is interested I am putting together these carbs as porsche 914 setups with manifolds, air cleaners etc. If anoyone is interested let me know. The 36 IDFS as compared to the 40 IDFs have a slightly smaller throat. If jetted correctly they would be perfect for the 1.7 and 1.8 liter engines.

I need carbs (eventually!)
I'm really just browsing around, looking to see how much it will cost to convert over to carbs. If I find a good deal...
What I need: dual 40's with manifolds and linkage. I know how much they will cost new, I am looking for a set which needs rebuilding... ps:kind of partial to weber 40 idf xe twin barrel
