914 2.0 fuchs wheels set of 4

I've had these for a long time and never used them. When I owned a 914, they came as a spare set with Yokohama A001-R tires mounted. The previous owner used them for autocrossing. There is not much tread left on them, I would probably take them off to save a bit on shipping, but they will charge $15-20 to remove each one. It will only cost about $30 per wheel to ship them the way they are, so they are being sold mounted.
The wheels are in very good shape, a couple of very minor curb rashes. In fact in my first inspection, I didn't even notice the rash. I'm sure it can be polished out.
I will ship these Fedex ground. $650 shipped to the lower 48 states. I am open to offers.
Let me know if you have any questions. email: primage1@mchsi.com
Thanks!

Hey Dean -
My guess is these wheels would also fit a '79 Beetle convertible, no? If I recall (owned a '74 914 in '78) the 914 steel sport wheel was nothing more than a wider MY73<79 VW Beetle sport wheel.
Would you happen to know the Fuchs offset and width dimensions? Are the wheels aluminum alloy?

Cheers, Mike

Fuchs 4-lug 914 wheels are forged alloys that are 5.5 inches wide and have a 40mm offset

tire removal

Walmart will remove tires for a $5 tire mounting fee if you take the old tires with you.
VW and Porsche offsets are slightly different. They will sit more inward on a VW.

Depending on the tire, these will rub on the front springs of a super beetle, the tapered springs like topline sells fit fine
