Does anyone know where I can get the 3 cables for the Fan / Heater controls? The outer sheath on the cables have broken off at the ends so there is nothing but the cable to grab onto which would prevent movement. The outer sheath is what gets clamped to allow the metal cable to move freely and open / close / turn-on the fan

I usually look at auto supply houses to find something that will work.

Thank you for the reply rvanderpyl. I am not really sure how I would search for the cable... I'll give it a shot in the absence of any further responses.

I can look and see how many heater cable assemblies I have. Used of course, if you are interested.

Sorry, should have been more specific.
I have used manual choke cables, you can get them at performance auto parts stores where they still sell carberators

I ended up buying about 16 feet of bowden cable from a local bicycle shop for $1.99 per foot.
I replaced ALL the bowden cables in the front trunk. All my cables move SMOOTHLY now. |
