I seem to recall someone making their own lens seal from material purchased from Home Depot. I assume they made their own because the seal is NLA?

Never replaced seals, but mention of Home Depot makes me think that the rubber beading used in installing window/door screen would probably work well.

if you can gently remove the housing to body seal, clean it, the channel it rests in and the recess the housing goes into. replace the gasket and run a small bead of black silicon on it. this keeps the rain out of the trunk in washington.
