76 420hp 914 Chev 302 For sale
1976 Porsche 914, SC front suspension, 7&8 x16 Polished Fuchs, 4 piston Brembo front Calipers. Brembo drilled rotors 19mm MC. Car is painted Viper Yellow /pearl. Has rear flares and rear deck spoiler. The engine was built for this application, Forged crank, and rods, SR-Torquer heads, Forged 10:1 pistons Weland Stealth Manifold, 650 Holley Double pumper, MSD dist and 6al CD unit. 120 amp alternator and reduction gear starter. Al. Flywheel ,Renegade Headers. engine produces 418 hp at 6800 RPM 360 ft/lbs at 5800 rpm. The engine is balanced to .1 gram. The conversion is from Rod Simpson, Fluidyne radiator. spall fans. only time temp has been past 200 was on an a prolonged Dyno pull.
It does have the stock 914 transaxel because of engine design, it has lived for over two years with no issues. Interior is perfect with new carpets and headliner. stock tach was converted to v8 application. All other gauges including clock work. Momo steering Wheel and updated Cd player and speakers. Battery is sprial cell and relocated to front trunk. the trailing arms are boxed and the rear suspension areas have been reinforced. 180 lb rear springs and Adjustable Koni shocks. This car is has 4 second 0-60 times, handling has not been affected by conversion, and can stop too. Only reason car is for sale is I need garage space asking price is 12.5k$ if interested send pm will post pictures shortly.....Pat
