SOLD: Complete 2056 with D-jet, EM Cyls, KB pistons
Selling my 2056 that is still currently in the car. The engine runs great and has approximately 10K on the cylinders/pistons/rings. The ECU/MPS are '74 parts, but I do have the '73 parts as well. My 037 MPS needs a new diaphram. Recently replaced the TPS board, distributor cap, rotor, points, and condenser. Also installed the Jonesy CNC aluminum tuna can and temp sender plate from the GB. Runs smooth through the whole RPM range, doesn't buck whatsoever, and idles better than my 2001 Golf.
Decided to go to a six, so all my 4 cylinder parts are going away. Otherwise I would keep this engine and continue driving the car. Have daily driven it for the last 2 weeks with absolutely 0 issues. Asking $2950+shipping for the whole package. Currently don't have any pics, but will be posting up a video of the engine soon.

Wondering why the CHT sensor was moved to this location?

At some time in the head's life the CHT threads were all but destroyed. Easy in car fix was to open a tin screw hole next to the runner, tap it to 10x1.0mm, and install the CHT sensor there. Runs a little more rich while warming up (which the 2056 seems to like) because of the further proximity to the combustion chamber, but once up to temp it makes little difference.
