i have a very nice 73 914 sideshifter and a 70 tailshifter the sideshifter was opened up and inspecte by a trans shop in duval washington i don't remember the guys name but think it is daryl he is well known in the area anything worn was replaced i used this trans in my v8 car for about 4 years and can say it works perfect, the tailshifter came out of a 70 914 i owned for a few years and also is excellent bo issues
