Original 2.0L 914-6 motor - Longblock

For sale:

Original 914-6 2.0 L motor. Has only 39k original miles, but has been sitting for over 20 years. Does not turn over. I have no idea as to the condition of this motor. It is very clean and the case is empty. I have picture documentation of the removal from an original 39k mile car. Also available are the carbs (need work), fan, oil cooler, etc. I am selling the engine as is. I will ship anywhere in the US via Yellow Freight. Engine case number available upon request...I just dont have it at this moment. I believe this engine is out of car 2371, but I could be mistaken about that. That info is also available if needed. I bought the entire car and used the suspension and brakes and transaxle on my own restoration. I do not need the engine and I do not have the time to break it down and rebuild it.

I also have several other '6' related parts for sale, including a complete rear suspension from a 914-6. I have the rear calipers, axles, stubs, trailing arms, springs, etc.

I have a complete front suspension from a 914-6 including calipers, a-arms, original German ZF steering rack (has minor repairable damage), struts (one is slightly bent at the bottom), etc.

Please make an offer on these packages. If I do not have any reasonable interest on this board, I will just ebay the parts.

Thanks,

Trent.

I was looking to get $1100 or so out of it, though I may be willing to negotiate a little. I am not sure what these are going for right now. Make an offer. I am a fair individual. If you make a fair offer I would be willing to at least entertain it. I know that if it was running it would be worth $3000-3500 according to the prices I have recently seen so I am asking a third of that. Let me know what you think. email me at aridils@hotmail.com and we can discuss it further.

Thanks

Trent.

Trent,

We're looking any ol' 6 cylinder 911 engine to take measurements off of. If you're open to it, we'd love to take yours apart take measurements then return it to you with all the components cleaned up and we can even spec everything out for you. We're not too far from you and I could just drive down and pick up the longblock and return it back to you once we're done with it. Just a thought.... if interested, my email address is charles@lnengineering.com

Thanks,

Charles
