Coolant hoses

Question for the knowledgeable: Are the silicon coolant hoses/kits sold on eBay for $60-70 any good?

Thanks in advance, John

I cannot answer your question directly, but I have heard some folks report that the silicone hoses can be hard to fit and clamp properly.

Good luck!

I bought mine from Lindsey Racing. The silicon is not nearly as pliable as rubber. They can be hard to fit and stretch over the retaining bumps on flanges. They are also thicker than rubber so clamping can be difficult in tight areas.

They look pretty darn good but not sure I would purchase them again.

I bought a set from Lindsey Racing; they look good, but some of them are a real pain in the butt to install due to the tight fit. Soaking them in hot water and using Dawn as a lubricant really helps though.
